My 5 Favorites for 2020

According to the groundhog, we’ll be having an early Spring! So despite the current weather, I’m hopeful and prepping myself and my closet for it. Today, I’ve put together a list of a few of my favorites to move us towards the next season in style!

Self-Tanner

I love the sun.  I look better tan.  Period. This year for the first time in a long time, I have promised myself and the hubs NOT to get in the tanning bed even for a “base tan.”  You all know I love a good self-tanner and I’ve tried quite a few last year. Topping my list as my favorite is the Coco & Eve Bronzing Foam in Ultra-Dark. Now, if you are more fair than me, I would recommend the Medium.  You can see my full review of tanners in “Diary of a Self-Tanner Snob”.

Swimsuit

I’m finding swimsuits I love this year at the most unexpected place: Aerie.  What once was known for just their comfort clothing for teenagers has become my new go-to spot for lots of items.  The store is reasonably priced and often times there are coupon codes available. I also love the fact that they use models of all body shapes and sizes so you can see how clothes actually fit real women.

Jewelry

You see me wear these in almost every photo.  Why? They’re just that versatile. I own the Serena Hoops in size large in both silver and gold.  The gold tends to be my favorite though. Moon and Lola is a Raleigh, NC company and I love supporting these local gals any time I can.

White Jeans

Ladies, can you say SPANX?? Now don’t let the price or the name turn you off.  These are well worth the money. I love that they come in different lengths and the waistband provides comfort while not sacrificing style with real pockets like some jeggings.

Makeup

No look is complete without the perfect nude lip.  Birthday Cake, the newest ELC shade from LimeLife, is long-lasting and looks great on all skin types.  It makes getting ready a breeze and is a staple in my pocketbook in case I’m caught away from home with no lips.

So for now, stay warm and remember we’re in the short rows.  I would love to hear your feedback on these items as well. Sending early Spring wishes,
