Fall 2020 Fashion Preview
Dressing daily, much like blogging, hasn’t been at the top of my “To Do” list the last few months. But with a new season approaching it’s a great time to make some changes, right? We’re becoming accustomed to this “new normal” and it’s time to update that wardrobe to match. Here are some trending looks for Fall 2020.
Doll Dresses
Easy, breezy and super comfy! From prints to jewel tones these dresses give you that “dressed up” feeling without the stiffness. Pair them with sandals now while it’s still warm and boots and a cardigan later on when we finally see the cooler weather.
Peplum/Babydoll Tops
Again comfort is the name of the game. This playful style hides the mom pooch or extra quarantine snacks (WIN) and adds a little flair to your style. Pair with skinny jeans and ankle boots for a cute date night look. You can find this one in lots of colors at American Eagle. I’m wearing a Small as the super soft fabric tends to run slightly big.
Animal Prints (of course)
While we know leopard/cheetah has been hot for a while, this season we’re adding in all the prints. Snake, zebra, croc...you name it, you can wear it. From tops to belts to shoes an animal print is a fun way to add some spice to a basic. I’m linking a few of my favs below.
Relaxed Denim
Moms must wear “mom jeans,” right? Not at all! Relaxed fits are making a comeback this season. Super comfy for errands, PTA or even just doing the house things. Style them with some fun sneakers (also trending) and a graphic tee. These are from Whiskey Darling Boutique. I’m wearing a size 5.
Boots (tall & ankle)
Nothing says Fall like boots or booties. Both heeled options and flats are on the scene this year. Tip...invest in a classic style and color like the Frye Riding Boots in black. I’ve had mine nearly 5 years now and they still look as good as day one. And the fact that they’re still in style that many years later lets you know they’re worth the price.
Remember, you can be stylish regardless of season, age or lifestyle.
