My Favorite Fall Fashion Trends
Like it or not, fall is just around the corner (we all know how I feel about this). You’ve probably already started thinking about cooler days filled with cozy clothing and warm coffee. Of course, you want to stay fashionable even if this isn’t “your season,” right?! I’ve rounded up 5 trends you’ll be seeing this fall as you shop Styled by HGE and other stores, sure to get you set for the dropping temps ahead!
Preppy
Maybe you’ve never stepped foot in the country club or a sorority house but you can still dress the part! From tops to bottoms and dresses, you’ll be seeing lots of preppy touches this fall. Fun colors can make what used to be boring fashion forward.
Leather
Feel like a baddie all the time! I have been obsessed with the leather look for quite some time but it seems it’s the hottest thing this season. No pun intended. Black and brown will be the staples but don’t be scared to wear colors like pink and red as well.
Deconstructed staples
“Yes Dad, I paid full price for this top that appears to have been in a fight with a weedeater”. Even though the older generation might not understand it, deconstructed fashion is super in. We’ve been seeing it in pants, specifically jeans, for a while but this season you can find it in tops, jackets, and other items as well.
Shades of caramel
Can you say neutral, neutral, neutral?? Looking at my own closet this time of year, caramel and shades of it are one of my absolute favorites. Monochromatic looks with this color will set the tone.
90’s vibes
The 90s are back it seems in every direction we turn. For some of us, this means reliving our childhood. For others, like our teenagers, it means wearing what mom wore when she was the same age. Graphic tees, low-rise jeans, and chunky shoes are sticking with us, like it or not.
While this time of year isn’t always my favorite, I am looking forward to embracing the fashion of the season. It’s always fun to update my closet and try new things. Even if you don’t follow the trends, make sure whatever you choose has you feeling like a million bucks!
