Spring 2023 Fashion Trends

Is anyone else counting down the days until spring? You know I am for many reasons, but this year the changing of fashion is at the top of my list.  During the past year since opening Styled by HGE and attending NYFW, I’ve become even more aware of runway trends. Here’s a little of what you can expect as we head into spring 2023!

Florals

This one shouldn’t come as a surprise.  For the last few years, floral patterns have made their way into our wardrobes from head to toe. They always give a positive vibe and help us to usher in the warmer and longer days.  Tiny ditsy flowers, vintage floral prints, and even rose buds will be making their way to your closet this season.

Purple Hues

Last year’s biggest color trend is sticking with us for 2023.  Lilac, lavender, and other purple tones are being seen in casual, professional, and formal looks. It’s safe to say that this color spectrum is here to stay.

Ruffles

Whether big or small, this feminine trend is making waves. From sleeves to hemlines, volume continues to play a big role in our 2023 fashion. This is another trend that keeps hanging around and I am here for it.

Bow Details

The bigger the bow, the closer to Jesus. Isn’t that what they say? Well, bigger certainly seems to be better in this case.  Oversized, statement styles have been spotted all across runways.  I’ve even seen a few of these pieces in the Styled by HGE lineup.

Asymmetric Lines

Small trend, big impact. This one is so easy to adopt and honestly looks great on any shape.  From shoulders to hemlines, it’s all about high and low angles.  My personal fav, this one has been spotted is in swimwear.  It gives an instant elongating look if used in the midsection.

This is just a snippet of what you can expect to see from your favorite brands in the coming months.  I’m excited to say that Styled by HGE is right on trend and will be bringing you quite a few of these styles as well.  You may be thinking that none of these “trends” are your style, but I can assure you that as long as you are confident in whatever you’re wearing, you are in style.
